Black Galaxy granite is one of the worlds most popular granites being quarried in Ongole district of Andhra pradesh, India. It is exported to all over world since decades for its consistency and durability. Black Galaxy granite is with black back ground , small gold or copper like specks reflecting on exposure to light. Black galaxy granite have large, medium and small grained reflective gold , copper color speck with variance in black back ground depending on quarry and its occurrences. For large projects, it is advisable to source Black Galaxy granite slabs or tiles from same quarry to maintain back ground and spec consistency . This durable granite is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Black galaxy granite with glossy polished surface is used for flooring, wall cladding, as kitchen tops, counter top, bathroom vanity tops, window sills, back splashes, steps & raisers etc., Black Galaxy granite is also suitable for flamed (thermal), honed, leather and brushed finishes.

The size of black galaxy granite slab is determined by mother earth depending on size of black galaxy granite blocks recovered during quarry operations while avoiding variations of granite formation. Black galaxy granite gang saw slabs are usually manufactured with sizes or 270 up x 150 up cms with thickness of 2cm, 3cm, 4cm, 5 cm, 6cm, 7cm upto 10cm and Cutter small slabs are manufactured with 18mm +/- 1 mm thickness with 180 up x 60 up slab sizes or with customer required thickness and sizes. black galaxy granite Tiles are available in sizes of 30×30, 60×60, 60×30 , 60×90, 45×45 cm etc., or with customer specific sizes and thickness. Apart from standard thickness, Black Galaxy granite tiles are also made with calibration to exact size specifications with minimum variations.
